it's not that far away

In order to distract myself from cleaning the mess that I call my room I went down to the pool for a swim. The sun was so bright, I'm dying for it to be warm enough for bikini time.

Twestival Update - dig that well!

On February 12th 2009 I was part of a team that put together Twestival Toronto (#twestivalTO). If you don't know about Twestival I posted a bunch about it here and here. Our city was one of hundreds that took part to raise money for charity:water to drill wells in places where people did not have access to clean water. Toronto raised about $10,000 and all cities together raised about $250,000. The event was fun and I met a ton of great people because of it.

I'm happy to share with you that Twestival well drilling has begun. This video is Day 1 in Ethiopia. It's touching to see how happy the village is!
