I got this email today from Take Part - Social Action Network and I wanna share some of the tasty shit with you.
6 Things You Can Do to Save Water
Just a little effort can make a big difference in conserving water. While fresh, clean drinking water is ours to use whenever we need it, none of us can afford to waste it. It's too valuable. Here's what you can do:
1. Water your lawn only when it needs it. A good way to see if your lawn needs watering is to step on the grass. If it springs back up, it doesn't need water. If it stays flat, fetch the sprinkler.
2. Water during the cool parts of the day. Early morning generally is better than dusk because it helps prevent growth of fungus.
3. Plant drought-resistant trees and plants.
4. Use a broom, not a hose, to clean driveways and sidewalks.
5. Wash your car at a commercial car wash. They recycle the water.
6. Collect condensate water from air conditioners and use it to water your plants.
Thank you very much!! ♥ Love xo.
blogTO reader Michelle Palmer brought this event to our attention via a Facebook thread (MY NOTE!!!!) initiated by her animal-loving friends. A number of people contacted the club, organizers and animal rights groups such as PETA, protesting the planned appearance of live kangaroos, which would have been caged around the club premises.
I spoke with This Is London's Sherry Rampersaud, who confirms that "the club has reconsidered and there will be no kangaroos at tonight's event." Party organizers INK have not responded as of press time.Activism is not usually the main reason why people sign up on online networking sites, but it is good to know that social and ethical issues are being addressed alongside who's poked who and who's in an open relationship, whether the actions of the thread members and their friends were directly involved in the organizer's final decisions or not.
I was looking at this today and it totally amazed me. Check out some photos of what is in the works for the Dubai waterfront. I included some photos, however I recommend looking at the site.
When completed it will be the largest waterfront development in the world.
I let her know we will do all I can for the cause!!
"I've spent all my fun chips and now I've parked my drinking boots in the closet. I haven't had a drink in four years. There wasn't any real specific bottom to it. I was just ready to graduate from adolescence and try my hand at being an adult. And, quite honestly, the woman I was in love with was not really that tolerant of it, so I turned it off."
- Jason Bateman tells The Independent
As the waves crashed on the shore,
The wind washed them away.
And as I walked along the sand,
I felt I could not stray.
For I was walking towards the sun,
And it was a brand new day.

Mum gave me the book "The Four Agreements" by Don Miguel Ruiz many years ago. I have read it once before and recently picked it up again as I found myself looking for the same light that I once had. It is truly amazing when you read something so powerful as this book, yet, the amazement and self discovery is amplified when you bring yourself back to read it again. I have long since been on a spiritual journey, learning, reading, and evolving. I find that as I grow older I am somewhat of a life butcher, trimming the fat away, getting rid, and really savoring the good things. I have included a short excerpt from the book that outlines what the four agreements. I encourage the purchase of this book, in part because my copy is so important to me and well used that I refuse to lend it out! The four agreements are great to put up in places that you see them often to remind yourself of a better, more fulfilled & spirited life that you can live.
Enjoy! xo Case
The Four Agreements
Be Impeccable With Your Word: Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.
Don’t Take Anything Personally: Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the
Don’t Make Assumptions: Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.
Always Do Your Best: Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.

Wow! It looks like people either love or hate the Zune....with the majority of the market loving ipod and hating the MS Zune. I came across some interesting comments about the device in this Globe & Mail comments thread. The article was originally posted in 2006 when the first Zune came out.
I'm going to keep testing out the bitch and will give a new report on my usage soon...
"Grey Rabbit from Mississauga, Canada writes: I wonder who supplies the battery ? Fast forward 6 months.... millions of Zunes recalled after reports of overheating ."
The battery on this thing sucks. I charged it up allllllll night and after my short trip to work, the damn thing was shut down. I hate it right now. The functionality of the screen and keys and setup all suck. They are not easy to use like ipod or convenient either. I can use my ipod while I bike or drive or ANYTHING, Zune not a chance! I'm going ot try a little more to get to know the Zune, that way, I can get over the hump in my learning curve and see all the good it has to offer!
Until next time....
